« Joining En Marche ! was a one-way journey. My motivations were multiple but one was crucial to me: my party was far away from my personal beliefs and I didn’t want to remain in this political formation because of the past commitments we shared.
In early February 2017, I met with Emmanuel Macron. He was a former French Minister of Economics and I attended a public meeting he gave in Lyon. For once, I felt inspired. For once, I felt hopeful in our future, because he was not only making promises to future voters. He was acknowledging the fact that the road for change would be tough and long. He was honestly saying that our debt was critically increasing, but he would not leave without fighting, without trying to make things better. This led me to join his movement. »
